TESA JOLLY, DDS

HUMANITARIAN AWARD

You’ll find Dr. Tesa Jolly raising oral health awareness locally, through private practice in her rural hometown, Pulaski, Tennessee, and globally, through dental mission outreach in China. In her first of 11 years of practice, Dr. Jolly established a Free Dental Day in Pulaski, and has organized 10 in total. She has championed its exponential growth to include a 200-volunteer effort that provides care for 500 people in one day. Her international volunteerism with Hope Smiles led her to China, where she provided dental care to orphanage staff. During three visits there, she adopted two children and today, her family includes four wonderful children she and her husband raise together. Dr. Jolly earned her DDS from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and received her BS from the University of Tennessee in Biomedical and Biochemical Sciences. She has held offices on the regional and state level of the Tennessee Dental Association. She was the recipient of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s prestigious Evy Award twice, as a Rising Star and a Humanitarian. In her fifth year of service on the Board of Trustees of Southern Regional Tennessee Health Systems, Dr. Jolly was recently elected Vice Chair for the local Board of Health for Giles County, Tennessee.
